About Krewe du Vieux

The French Quarter's famously bawdy satirical parade. When the Krewe of Clones decided to become more respectable, founders started Krewe du Vieux Carré to keep its raucous, art-inspired spirit alive with sub-krewes and mule-drawn or hand-pulled floats. In 2006 it was the first parade to march after Hurricane Katrina. Adults-oriented. [source]
