About Krewe of Bacchus

Bacchus broke with tradition by choosing a nationally known celebrity as king — Danny Kaye led its first parade in 1969. Look for its enormous signature floats: the Baccha-Kong family, Bacchasaurus, Bacchagator and the giant whale Bacchawhoppa. [source]
