About Phunny Phorty Phellows

The Phunny Phorty Phellows herald the arrival of Carnival on Twelfth Night with a costumed ride up and down the St. Charles streetcar line while crowds along the tracks catch the season's first beads. The group first took to the streets in 1878 and returned in 1981 after a long break. [source]
